Who is Triple H Outfitters

100 years combined of hunting and outfitting experience!

Donovan Huehl

Donovan grew up in the small farming community of Lincoln, Kansas. At a young age, Donovan’s father introduced him to the outdoors and its diverse wildlife. A spark was lit at the age of fourteen when he took his first deer and from there a passion was created that was irresistible. Soon after, Donovan’s love for hunting quickly emerged into a vision, where he found himself years later finally making his dream become a reality by turning those passions into what is now Triple H Outfitters.

Donovan has guided a multitude of clients and friends on numerous unforgettable hunts that repeatedly leaves them with a craving to come back for more.

With his 35 plus years of hunting and guiding experience, satisfaction is what awaits you at Triple H Outfitters. Come hunt with us and you won't be disappointed.

Charles Huehl

When I was 4 years old my father bought me a Bear “Cub” recurve bow and I have been hooked on archery shooting and hunting ever since.

My father has continued to instill in me our families hunting heritage throughout my life. He carried me to his tree stand way before I was old enough to hunt and finally the age of 14, I was able to harvest my first trophy whitetail buck with my bow. I truly have a deep love and passion for the outdoors.

Today, my passion for hunting has allowed me the chance to share my love of the hunt by guiding our clients on big game hunts including whitetail deer and turkey hunts in Kansas as well as Mule deer and Elk in Colorado. My biggest thrill of the hunt now is watching our clients harvest their own trophies followed by the same emotions that I myself have experienced for more than 30 years!

Gerald "Hilly" Huehl

Gerald has bowhunted for over 47 years, hunting in 15 states including Canada and Argentina and a member of the Kansas and Nebraska Bowhunting Associations for over 30 years. When Gerald Huehl first picked up a bow, little did he know the fascination would grow into a love he would pass on to his children and grandchildren.

In 1982 Gerald sold his archery business and moved his family to Ft. Collins,CO., to pursue his dream of becoming an outfitter and formed “Camp Orca,” which specialized in guided Elk and Mule Deer hunts inside the Rockies. But for Gerald, and his sons Donovan and Charlie, archery and hunting wouldn’t be an occasional hobby or sport, but a true calling that would eventually lead them to open their own outfitting business.

“During the years, I have had the opportunity, through hunting and archery, to meet a lot of good people who share the same passion I have for the outdoors,” Gerald said. “Now, through this new business, my children will have that same opportunity.”
